Booster Classes are to help children reinforce basic
concepts from their previous year’s syllabus.
Research has shown that children lose the most learning over the summer
holidays.
In maths the priority is to check the number work of the
four operations: multiplication, division addition and subtraction and then to
apply this number work to different concepts such as times tables, time, money,
angles, percentages, fractions and decimals.
In English the areas of focus would be: punctuation,
spelling, reading, composition, comprehension, and writing for a variety of
audiences.
Booster classes offer an opportunity to improve your child’s
level and grade. There are some
excellent discounts, starting at 10 lessons booked.
If you would like to keep your usual time, or are taking a summer
break, please let me know so that I can re-allocate the space.
Extra booster lessons can begin from the last week in July
and run through until late August.

Regular classes:
Parents who want to continue with their usual times may do so, please let me know by the 20th July what you wish to do over the summer. Please fill in the form with the dates you are coming so that I can invoice you for the dates. As I know summer is busy for you, I will only charge you for the selected classes.
If you are away for the summer, classes for the Winter Term begins the first week in September.
